This website is designed to help young people understand personal finance issues. It is aimed at 16 - 18 year olds who are considering going to work or to university.
It has 3 sections:
- Sixth Form
- Going to Work
- Going to University
Each section looks at 4 distinct areas:
- Earnings and Other Income
- Banking and Borrowing
- Savings and Planning
- Costs and Budgeting

The aim of the site is to inform young people and their parents about all aspects of finance which is relevant to them. For example:
- how to create and manage a realistic budget
- what level of student loan a person can apply for
- where to find out about minimum hourly rates
- how much Income Tax or National Insurance should be deducted from a wage
The Teachers' Zone contains lesson plans and worksheets to aid delivery of relevant and timely learning. The site is currently undergoing accreditation by pfeg - the Personal Finance Education Group.
